Mental Health and Exercise

Exercise significantly benefits mental health by improving mood, reducing stress, and helping manage anxiety and depression through the release of endorphins and other brain chemicals.

What Exercise Does for Me: Exercise has been my greatest tool for mental health wellbeing. When life feels challenging it can be hard to show up. But after exercising, especially alongside like-minded people, my perspective shifts. The challenges remain, yet my mind feels clearer lighter and more capable of handling whatever comes next.

Join in a Group Fitness Class: Group fitness has social and physical benefits with research even suggesting group-based activities are more effective for reducing depression symptoms than solo exercise.
